Staying on target

F&C Investments: new addition to education centre

Our new ‘stay on target’ video examines the features and benefits of risk-targeted multi-manager funds.

Gary Potter, co-head of the F&C multi-manager team, and Mark Parry, Head of Distribution Partners, look at:

  • key differences between risk-targeted and risk-rated funds
  • the importance of asset allocation when creating a ‘suitable’ investment solution
  • supplementing long-term strategic asset allocation with a tactical overlay
  • benefits of a blended approach over purely active or passive strategies
  • the different strategies that can be employed in risk-targeted solutions and their implications

Watching the two parts of the video in one continuous session will count as 30 minutes structured CPD.

To get started, go to www.fandc.com/education and click on the ‘Stay on target’ tab
