Aegon UK launches new auto-enrolment hub

Aegon UK has launched a new auto-enrolment online hub to support employers, employees and advisers in the run up to staging and beyond.

The new online hub features:

  • A short film on SmartEnrol, Aegon’s auto-enrolment solution
  • Three short films where technical pensions expert, Martin Haggart, answers the most commonly asked auto-enrolment questions.
  • Journeys showing employers what they can expect during the 12 months before staging and beyond

Martin Haggart, Technical Development Manager (Pensions) at Aegon UK, said: “Aegon UK was the first provider to launch a dedicated pensions reform website in 2009. At that point the focus was on awareness and education for advisers and employers around the proposed legislation.

“With a surge of medium size employers staging this year and next, this focus has changed to support schemes staging. We’re going to build on the three technical films, and produce lots more of these on the most common questions to make sure we’re there for employers, and helping them with the technical aspects of auto-enrolment.”

The hub also includes hints and tips for employers, advice to help advisers get their clients ready for auto-enrolment, and sources for employees to find further information.

In addition to the new online hub, Aegon also has a dedicated team to help employers at each step of their onboarding journey, whether they’re using SmartEnrol, or not.
