NS&I: The building blocks towards a trusted relationship with your clients

There has always been an assumption that the best working relationships are often formed in person. However, during the pandemic, many within the advice industry have started to question this simple statement.

Advice firms are now relying on other ways to maintain a trusted relationship with their clients.

Advisers have told NS&I that when they recommend NS&I to their clients, the peace of mind provided by NS&I’s backing by the Treasury and its unique 100% security guarantee, is often met with a positive reaction that helps build trust with the advice firm itself.

It is not only the adviser-client relationship which has had to adapt to the pandemic, but also the working relationship between those within the advice firm too.

To help maintain these relationships, NS&I has launched a dedicated service for advice firms, and once registered, you will be able to get online access to your clients’ NS&I holdings, anytime and from anywhere.

By registering to this service your firm can:

  • View a list of your clients with NS&I holdings (subject to a Letter of Authority)
  • Select a client and view their NS&I portfolio
  • See copies of clients’ NS&I statements and other communications
  • Get a valuation of fixed term investments and see their maturity dates
  • View the transaction history of an account
  • View a client’s Premium Bonds prize history, and thus help calculate the return on their investment

There are now over 1,000+ fellow advice firms already using this service so make sure you visit nsandi-adviser.com and follow the steps to register.
