FundsNetwork: Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR)

A new regulatory regime is beginning – is your firm ready? 

The FCA has extended the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR) to all solo-regulated firms from 9 December 2019. All Senior Managers will need to be approved while other key staff will need to be certified as suitable at least annually. Firms have 12 months to: 

•             Complete the initial certification process

•             Train your other staff on the Conduct Rules
