Prudential: Intergenerational Planning ideas

Prudential are running two different webinars on Tuesday 24 July 2018, designed to highlight opportunities for you to discuss with your clients. Here’s what you can expect from both sessions.

University Fees Planning – 10am

Do you have clients with children heading to university? Do they know what it costs? Helen O'Hagan, Technical Manager, uses a case study to look at what trusts can be used when university planning and how they're taxed.

The session will qualify for 60 minutes CPD.

Collaboration and Estate Planning – 2pm

How do you work in collaboration with your professional connections? Join their Senior Technical Manager, Graeme Robb, alongside John Gaskell (ICAEW) and Eric Clapton (Vice Chair of ICAEW Personal Financial Planning Advisory Group), where they discuss the importance of working together when it comes to estate planning. They'll do this through the use of a case study and Q&A session.

The following learning objectives will be covered:

  • Gain an understanding of estate and other tax planning issues arising from a case study scenario
  • Understand how Chartered Accountants and Financial Advisers can work together to help clients achieve their goals
  • Learn about the ICAEW DPB licence.

The session will qualify for 60 minutes CPD
