Scottish Widows: Getting your potential clients planning
This year’s pension reforms mean that the landscape for you and your clients is changing like never before. Scottish Widows new ‘Change your life in an hour’ campaign aims to get people thinking about their plans for retirement and highlights the benefits of good financial advice. We want people to be prepared and informed for their discussions with you.
Alongside this, to help you support your clients, Scottish Widows hosted four panel debates with Money Marketing that provide insight and analysis on the key pension freedoms topics you told Scottish Widows you wanted to hear about.
Each panel has a different group of providers, industry experts and financial advisers discussing the impact of the pension freedoms and what they mean for you and your clients – including Lee Robertson from Investment Quorum, Alistair Cunningham from Wingate FP and David Geale from the FCA, to name but a few.
The roundtables focus on the following pension freedoms topics:
- Managing the first wave of demand
- What role will drawdown play?
- New ground rules for engaging with employees and employers on pensions
- New opportunities for advisers.
