Wesleyan Assurance Society is a proud mutual, focused on creating brighter financial futures. We have served our communities for over 180 years – and have the financial strength to serve for many more to come.
Long-standing, long-term investors
We are proud of our mutuality and our strong investment heritage and track record. Our past is built on deeply felt principles and a way of doing business that has always put values and long-term outcomes ahead of short-term gain.
In recent years we have expanded into the intermediary sector, making our flagship smoothed With Profits Fund available to Financial Advisers via independent platforms.
Smoother returns
The aim of Wesleyan’s With Profits Growth Fund is to provide capital growth over the medium to long term by investing in UK and international equities, bonds, property, cash and other related investments. Alongside this, the fund aims to avoid sharp rises and falls by ‘smoothing’ returns over the period of the plan.

Wesleyan: November monthly investment update - Reflections on September and October 2025
In our last update, we mentioned that September is historically known as one of the more challenging months on the stock market calendar. However, this year, it did buck the trend.
